Hawk
I saw you, hawk,
poised on an updraft,
your dark eye
peering downward,
your blade-like beak
chiseled for prey,
steely, still;
and that was a moment
of dread, of death
in the heart,
before you dipped a wing
and tilted away
to a far field.
"Nothing taken for granted; everything received with gratitude; everything passed on with grace." G. K. Chesterton

Wow, the new template does wonders. Nice choice.
God bless.
I love this new template, it really looks like a librarian's blog!
